Mobile youth work / street work
Mobile youth work / street work has the task of supporting troubled young people who can no longer be reached by conventional social support facilities. The services are offered less in institutions and more directly to young people at their meeting places in public spaces.
Street social workers offer help with basic everyday issues, provide advice and also deal with the police and other authorities. Within the framework of mobile youth work, projects and jointly developed activities are initiated in order to avoid dangers with meaningful offers and to show viable prospects for the future.
