Youth centers
Youth centers are a fundamental part of the educational landscape in the city of Jena. They offer open work for teenagers and young adults.
Youth work in the youth centers has the task ofcontributing to thepersonal development and integration of young people. In doing so, it works with an independent understanding of education: it offers young people an open world of learning and experience. The focus is on what concerns young people and young adults: their ideas and dreams, their abilities and interests, and also their worries.
