New funding program launched for volunteer projects

The Thuringian state government is providing even more financial support for civic engagement in Thuringia and has launched a new funding program that specifically supports larger volunteer projects. From August 11, non-profit associations and initiatives can apply for funding of between 5,000 and 100,000 euros - for events, recruiting new talent, further training, investments and much more. Important: Applications for this program must be submitted directly to the State Administration Office. The application deadline for 2025 is already on 15.09.2025, for 2026 the application period begins on 01.12.2025 and ends on 15.04.2026.

Existing applications to the Thüringer Ehrenamtsstiftung are not affected.
