Youth centres

Youth centres are important meeting places for young people in Jena. Here, they can get together, organise their leisure time, try out new things and discover their own interests. The staff are always ready to listen to their wishes, ideas and concerns, and support them in their development.

Youth work in the youth centres is based on an independent approach to education: it offers young people an open world of learning and experience. The focus is on what matters to young people: their ideas and dreams, their skills and interests, and also their concerns.

In Jena, there are youth centres in five planning areas; below you will find an overview of the facilities.

The current holiday programmes are published on the facilities’ websites.
